We have an acre of land with a lawn, a boardwalk through the wetland, a waterfall and fishpond, willows and ferns: a small wilderness of greenery and birds. There are double decks and a screened patio, each the 30′ length of the house. Outdoors there are tables, benches, chairs, a charcoal grill and a shower. The great room has three glass sliders, beamed wood, cathedral ceilings, wood floors, a baby grand piano, kitchen, full bath, and loft with a queen-sized bed. The fully tiled, first floor (downstairs) has one bedroom, French doors, and a full bath. There is also a studio with a hi-riser bed. Both baths have a tub and shower, and hand-painted Mexican sinks. Creature comforts include dishwasher, washing machine, cable TV, VCR and DVD player, a small movie selection, games for rainy days, and a telephone with local access. This elegant, artist-owned home was completely renovated in 2000. We prize our home for its calm, natural setting and proximity to the library, grocery store and cafés.
